This LED product bolts to the back of your Playfield and replaces the lamp assembly with a cooler, less power, more uniform LED light. The LED board goes behind the Star Rollover Assembly and has a hole in the center to allow the switch actuator to function properly on the leaf switch. Each PCB comes with a set of Orange or Natural White (other colors tbd based upon demand) SMT LEDs. The LEDs are driven by 6.3VAC typically found in GI (General Illumination) circuits on Bally, Williams, and Gottlieb pinball machines. The PCBs are white to ensure maximum LED light reflection into the insert.

The PCBs require 6.3VAC at JP1 to operate in your pinball machine. Typically you would want to use the 6.3VAC attached to your existing Star Rollover Lamps. Please note: This revision of the circuit board will not operate both LEDs if powered from a DC source; you must use a AC voltage source for both LEDs to light.
new Revision B:
This redesign adds two additional LEDs (for a total of 4) which emitted a natural white light for maximum compatibility with all colored star rollover inserts. The design is now non-polarized; so it will operate with any 6.3V source either AC or DC; infact, it can even be a PWM dimmer circuit. Additionally, this new design provides a resistor dimmer at R5 so you can dial your desired brightness level.
Installation will typically require a set of #6x32, 1/4" wood screws to bolt to the back of the Playfield as shown:
