The ICS-01 is a pin straightener for 0.300" and 0.600" wide ICs up to 40 pins. It has a reversible design with one side for 0.300" wide ICs supporting 8pin to 20pin ICs.
The other side supports 0.600" wide ICs between 24 and 40pins.

According to the datasheet, The ICS-01 is made of anti-static material and weighs 25 grams. The sheet also claims support of up to 48pins on the 0.6" side - but Pinball-Mods.com has only tested to 40pins. The device includes a grounding screw/point for proper ESD procedures.

Use this hand tool to straighten new ICs with flaired pins to be at a right angle so they can more easily be inserted into a CPU socket on a board.
